The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department presents Valentine’s Day events during the month of February.

For children:

"Valentine Cookies and Cards" at East Athens Community Center 

"Valentine’s Paint and Play" and "Valentine’s Paint Night" at Lay Park

“Valentine’s Craft Party” at Memorial Park

For adults:

Sandy Creek Nature Center hosts its inaugural “Couples in the Sky” program. This Valentine program includes a planetarium show and refreshments before and after the show. Weather permitting, telescopes will be set up after the show. Couple costumes are encouraged and participants will vote for the best costume. The winners will receive a prize.
