Mark Spain Real Estate Repeats As the No. 1 Team in U.S. on REAL Trends Top 1,000 Agents Ranking

Staff Report From Georgia CEO

Mark Spain Real Estate has again been named the No. 1 real estate team in the United States. “The Thousand Top Real Estate Professionals” is a prominent national awards ranking, sponsored annually by REAL Trends and advertised in The Wall Street Journal. Ranking No. 1 nationally for closed transactions and No. 5 for annual closed sales volume (separate list). Mark Spain and his team have annually appeared somewhere in the top 10 of this elite, national top performers list for the last decade.

Consistently outperforming each of its previous year’s sales totals, the Mark Spain Real Estate team achieved 2,748 transactions in 2018, with total gross sales of more than $702 million. This was a 129 percent growth rate over the team’s 2018 numbers. On average, the Mark Spain team sold more than 10.5 homes per business day in 2018. And it may surprise some to know these production numbers were accomplished with a sales team of only 118 members, as of the end of 2018.

“Every year, we always try to improve for our clients, whether it’s our service, our internal processes or our marketing,” explains Chairman and CEO Mark Spain. “We now have a new sale option for home sellers called the Guaranteed Offer, which I’m pretty excited about. If a seller’s home meets certain requirements, this program will extend an offer. So it’s basically selling the home without ever having it on the market, going through showings, open houses and an unknown waiting period before an offer is received. For some sellers, it’s a perfect fit.”

As the leader of such a massively productive team with cutting edge ideas like its Guaranteed Offer program and extensive billboard advertising, it should come as no surprise that Mark Spain was named to the inaugural list earlier this year of real estate industry Game Changers. The 2019 REAL Trends Game Changers list of 50 people who have the potential to change the game of real estate in the coming year included such honorees as: Gary Keller, co-founder and CEO of Keller Williams International, long-time and well-known real estate industry trainers Brian Buffini and Tom Ferry, as well as the CEOs of RE/MAX International, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Zillow, Coldwell Banker, Realogy Holdings Corp., and HomeServices of America.
