Fastenal, North America’s Largest Fastener Distributor, Joins the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance as an Innovator Sponsor

The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance had a banner year in 2018 and continues to expand its reach by adding new members and sponsors in the first quarter of 2019. Fastenal, North America’s largest fastener distributor and an efficient single source for 30 product categories, has come onboard as an Innovator Sponsor and will be a valuable resource in providing products for the OEM (original equipment manufacturer), MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations), and construction industries.
Supported by the company’s global sourcing and logistics resources, each of Fastenal’s 56 Georgia branch locations and 27 Georgia onsite customer locations tailors its inventory and service to meet the unique needs of local customers. On April 9th, Fastenal will host the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance for a tour of their 200,000 sq. ft. distribution and warehouse facility in Atlanta. Attendees will get a behind the scenes look into their Distribution Center and learn how Fastenal has grown 600% over 15 years in this facility through a $10 million investment in distribution automation technology.
