AG Chris Carr Issues Statement on Passing of Former Chief Justice P. Harris Hines

Attorney General Chris Carr released the following statement following the death of former Chief Justice P. Harris Hines:
"We at the Department of Law join the family, friends and the Georgia judicial community in mourning the sudden loss of former Chief Justice P. Harris Hines, and we are praying for the healing and recovery of his wife, Helen,” said Attorney General Chris Carr. “Justice Hines was a leader in our state and a friend to the legal community, and our entire office offers condolences to the Hines family, his former colleagues on the Georgia Supreme Court and all who knew and will miss him."
