Technology Association of Georgia & TAG Education Collaborative Present Annual STEM Education Awards

The Technology Association of Georgia and TAG Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed) will honor Georgia schools, programs and companies for supporting efforts and achievements in promoting science, technology, engineering and math education throughout the state of Georgia during the Eighth Annual STEM Education Awards on Friday November 2, 2018 at Loudermilk Conference Center; 40 Courtland Street, NE in Atlanta.
With approximately 70 submissions for the this year's STEM Education Awards and the support of distinguished judges, TAG-Ed continues to work diligently to inspire, engage and acknowledge some of the most impactful programs throughout the state of Georgia and honored to present the finalists listed below:
Elementary School - Recognizes innovative STEM curriculum and programs in Elementary Schools that promote STEM Education in the classroom and expand STEM skills while helping to point students towards productive technology related careers:

According to The Condition of STEM 2016, between 2012 and 2016, the percentage of students interested in STEM increased by 3% in the state of Georgia.
"We continue to be impressed with the interest shown in STEM throughout the state of Georgia," says Dr. Reginald Turner, Senior Director of Partnerships, TAG-Ed. "To be able to showcase and honor those who work hard to educate and inform students of STEM opportunities continues to be one of our annual goals."
