GDOL Offices All Open

The Georgia Department of Labor’s career center in Americus reopened, returning the agency to full service for the first time since Hurricane Michael hit.
The location at 120 W. Church St. reopened at 8 a.m. even though phone service has yet to be re-established.
The massive storm forced GDOL to shut down early, open late or close for at least one full day more than two dozen career centers from Athens to Bainbridge.
The department will has been working diligently since then to return to full service at all 41 locations across Georgia. Staff and GDOL customers will be updated as the situation changes.
