CertainTeed Corporation announced an agreement to purchase Finish Line Products, a leading manufacturer of high quality drywall finishing solutions. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2005, Finish Line operates a single manufacturing location in Winder, Georgia. Its quality drywall finishing products are distributed throughout the Southeastern United States. Finish Line strives to provide contractors with the highest quality service and most consistent products in the industry.  

"Finish Line's product offering of contractor-based formulations are a perfect complement to the rest of CertainTeed's finishing products already offered in the southeast region," said Bill Scannell, General Manager for CertainTeed's finishing business. "Building on the success of our CertainTeed Corners and Joint Reinforcement businesses, we are very excited to be able to offer a full line of products to our customers in this region. The knowledge and experience of the Finish Line team will be an asset to our organization."
