Lt. Governor Casey Cagle announced that Allen W. Yee has been appointed to serve on the Georgia Government Transparency & Campaign Finance Commission.

"Allen’s experience in both public and private law will serve the commission well," said Lt. Governor Cagle. "I’m confident Allen will ensure candidates and elected officials at every level are in full compliance with the laws of the State of Georgia, administering the highest ethical and legal standards."

"It’s vitally important that the citizens of Georgia have full confidence our elected officials and candidates for public office are in compliance with both the spirit and letter of the law – and I look forward to working with the members of the Government Transparency and Campaign Finance Commission to further Georgia’s reputation as a leader in upholding strong ethical standards."

Allen is Senior Counsel for Litigation at The Coca-Cola Company. After beginning his career as Law Clerk to U.S. District Judge B. Avant Edenfield in Savannah, Georgia, Allen distinguished himself as a leading attorney in private practice and an active member of his community.
