Monsignor Donovan Names New School Head
Monday, July 16th, 2018
Monsignor Donavan Catholic High School has tapped a Wisconsin educator to lead the school as a new school year begins.
A former history teacher in the Milwaukee public school system, new Monsignor Donovan Head of School Paul Gessner was most recently Head of School at St. Joan Antida High School, a private, all-girl Roman Catholic school in Milwaukee.
Under his leadership, St. Joan Antida became the only all-girl International Baccalaureate World School in Wisconsin, and the first in the nation to offer the IB career-related program in engineering.
Gessner begins July 16, replacing Patrick Yuran.
Yuran and his wife, former Clarke Central High School principal Marie Yuran, are moving to west Georgia, where they have family and new jobs.
