Missy Brandt Wilson, Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau Director of Sales, has accepted an area director of sales position with McNeil Hotel Company, the company that operates locally the Hampton Inn and soon-to-be Homewood Suites by Hilton, which is at The Mark.  Her last day with the CVB is today, Friday, June 29.

We will miss her, but she will be a neighbor of the CVB, and I am confident that she will be a strong partner of ours.  She has been a tremendous leader at the CVB and achieved great success in her four years here, two of which have been as director of sales.  Missy has received numerous awards, both externally and internally, for her exceptional level of service.  

Missy is wished the best in her new role, and we look forward to working with her in a new way.  Please join me in bidding her farewell and thanking her for four years of excellent work on behalf of the CVB, The Classic Center, and our city.

Our director of sales position is, thus, open, and a search committee is being formed.
