Berryl A. Anderson, Board of Commissioners of the Magistrates Retirement Fund of Georgia (reappointment)
Anderson is the chief judge of the DeKalb County Magistrate Court. She was previously an attorney with the Atlanta Legal Aid Society. Anderson is the chair of the Family Violence and Domestic Relations Advisory Committee for the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ). She has also served on the faculty of NCJFCJ for 11 years, training judges, attorneys, advocates, court personnel and law enforcement on issues related to family violence, stalking, elder abuse and supervised visitation. Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree from Hampton University and a law degree from the University of Akron School of Law. She resides in Decatur.
 
Thomas C. Bobbitt III, Board of Commissioners of the Magistrates Retirement Fund of Georgia (reappointment)
Bobbitt is the chief magistrate of Laurens County and has served as a municipal court judge for 37 years. He is a former president of both the Council of Magistrate Court Judges and the Council of Municipal Court Judges, as well as a former vice chairman of the board of trustees for the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education of Georgia. Bobbitt sits on the board of directors for Communities in Schools of Laurens County and previously served as the prevention chairman of the Dublin Exchange Club. He earned a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Georgia and a law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Bobbitt and his wife, Karen, have one child and live in Dublin.
 
Britton David Brewer, Board of Commissioners of the Magistrates Retirement Fund of Georgia (reappointment) 
Brewer is a retirement planner with the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia and has more than 10 years of experience in investment and retirement planning. He is an affiliate member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute. Brewer earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Auburn University. He and his wife, Dana, have two children and reside in Decatur. 
 
Rita L. Cavanaugh, Board of Commissioners of the Magistrates Retirement Fund of Georgia (reappointment)
Cavanaugh is the chief magistrate of Spalding County and has worked in the judicial system for more than four decades. She is a former president of the Council of Magistrate Court Judges and was the first woman to serve in that capacity. Cavanaugh is a former chair of the Magistrate Court Training Council. She was previously a member of the Judicial Council of Georgia and served as a trustee for the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education at the University of Georgia School of Law. She has one child and one grandchild. Cavanaugh lives in Griffin.
 
Connie Holt, Board of Commissioners of the Magistrates Retirement Fund of Georgia (reappointment)
Holt is the chief magistrate of Morgan County and has 35 total years of experience with the magistrate court. She is a former president of the Council of Magistrate Court Judges and represents the eighth district on the Council of Magistrate Court Judges Executive Committee. Holt is also an adviser to the Council of Magistrate Court Clerks and Secretaries. She received the Magistrate of the Year Award three times, the Workhorse of the Year Award, the President's Award and the Lifetime of Achievement Award from the Council of Magistrate Court Judges. Holt is a member of Harmony Baptist Church, where she serves as secretary and assistant choir director. She received a paralegal degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Holt and her husband, Johnny, have two children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. They reside in Morgan County. 
 
Mary Kathryn Moss, Board of Commissioners of the Magistrates Retirement Fund of Georgia (reappointment)
Moss is the chief magistrate of Chatham County. She is the treasurer of the Council of Magistrate Court Judges and previously served as the council’s president. Moss is a former chair of the Magistrate Court Training Council and currently serves as a member of the council’s legislative and rules committees. She was named the 2018 Magistrate of the Year. Moss earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and a law degree and a certificate in Admiralty and Maritime Law from Tulane University Law School. She and her husband, Henry, have two children and live in Savannah.
 
Cindy Rampley, Georgia Real Estate Commission (reappointment)
Rampley is the broker-owner of Tri-City Realty Services. She has served with the Georgia Association of Realtors, the Fayette Chamber of Commerce and Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Rampley and her husband, Lanny, have three children and six grandchildren. They reside in Gay.
 
Garry McGiboney, Ph.D., Senate Study Committee on Dyslexia
McGiboney is the deputy state superintendent for external affairs and policy at the Georgia Department of Education. He is a member of the Supreme Court’s Committee on Justice for Children and the State Steering Committee for the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative. McGiboney is also a member of the Get Georgia Reading Campaign cabinet and the Georgia Accrediting Commission. He earned doctoral degrees in School Psychology and Administration from Georgia State University. McGiboney has two children and lives in Stone Mountain.
 
Leslie Stuart, Ph.D., Senate Study Committee on Dyslexia
Stuart is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in psychological and educational evaluations. She sees clients in private practice and treats individuals with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, auditory processing problems and nonverbal learning disabilities. Stuart previously sat on the boards of directors for the International Dyslexia Association Georgia Branch and The Sage School, a specialized school for dyslexic students. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lafayette College and a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Stuart and her husband, Peter, have two children and reside in Atlanta. 
 
Gerard W. Armorer, Sexual Offender Registration Review Board (reappointment)
Armorer is a field training officer and a senior parole officer for the State Board of Pardons and Paroles district in Conyers. He served as a flight operations specialist in the U.S. Army and previously worked as a producer for Newsweek magazine. Armorer was previously the chief deputy marshal for the DeKalb County State Court Marshal’s Office and a jail school administrator, deputy sheriff and P.O.S.T. certified instructor for the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the New York Institute of Technology. Armorer and his wife, Fatimah, have one child and live in Stone Mountain.
 
Guy A. Daughtrey, Southern Georgia Regional Commission
Daughtrey is an energy systems auditor for Georgia Power and has worked for Southern Company for more than 30 years. Daughtrey is the chairman of the board of directors for AgGeorgia Farm Credit and sits on the board of directors for the South Central Primary Care Center. He previously sat on the Cook County Planning and Zoning board and the board of directors for Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. Daughtrey earned an associate degree in Accounting from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a bachelor’s degree in Business from Georgia Southwestern State University. He and his wife, Connie, have one child and two grandchildren. They reside in Lenox.
 
Jon Jones, Southern Georgia Regional Commission
Jones is the president of Jones & Jones, Inc. He is the chairman of the Tift County Board of Education and sits on the board of directors for the South Georgia Banking Company. Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from Auburn University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Rice University. He and his wife, Betsy, have three children and live in Tifton.
 
Norman “Bo” Lovein III, Southern Georgia Regional Commission
Lovein retired as the owner of Bo Lovein Ford Inc. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Lovein sits on the board of directors for the Berrien County Chamber of Commerce. He is a former president of the Georgia Automobile Dealers Association and a member of the Nashville-Berrien Rotary Club. Lovein is also a member of Nashville United Methodist Church. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. Lovein and his wife, Carol, have two children and five grandchildren. They reside in Nashville.
