The event will be held at the Athens-Clarke County Library on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Green Life Expo 2018 will feature a wide variety of businesses, student groups and organizations that will share their knowledge about practicing sustainability.
Additionally, there will be educational panels, speakers and hands-on activities for patrons to participate in.
The event will also include kids’ activities that will take place from noon to 2 p.m. in the designated family area.
There will be an unplugged storytime for children ages 2-5 with their caregivers at 11 a.m. in the library’s Storyroom.
The unplugged storytime will include the reading of John Rocco’s story Blackout and activities that families can enjoy in the dark.
More crafts and activities for families in conjunction with the Green Life Expo will begin again at 1 p.m.
The event is free an open to all.
