Clarke County School District was one of 75 school districts awarded at the 2017 Golden Radish Award Ceremony on October 30th, 2017. The Golden Radish Award is given to Local Education Agencies in Georgia who are doing extraordinary work in farm to school.  The Award is presented by the Georgia Department of Education, Georgia Departement of Agriculture, Georgia Department of Public Health, the UGA Cooperative Extension, & Georgia Organics.  

LEAs were recognized at five levels. For districts who satisfied all ten criteria, they were awarded the Platinum Radish--the highest level of achievement in Farm to School.
