Walton EMC is holding a free holiday program Nov. 7 in Watkinsville.

Georgia master florist Dean Pannell will focus on ideas for decorating and preparing a holiday table. He has an interactive instruction style that includes humorous stories and anecdotes.

Pannell, a 22-year floral business veteran, decorated the sets of “Passions” and “Guiding Light” soap operas. The recipient of numerous design awards, Pannell and his ideas have been featured in numerous magazines.

Along with Pannell, Denise Beacham will demonstrate simple, easy and quick recipes for holiday treats and snacks. The dishes prepared are chosen with a busy holiday host in mind.

No pre-registration is required. The programs begin at 7 p.m. at the Oconee Civic Center.
