Four Finalists for Dean of UGA College of Environment and Design to Visit Campus

Four finalists for the position of dean of the University of Georgia College of Environment and Design will visit campus in the coming weeks to meet with members of the university community.
A committee chaired by Phillip Williams, dean of the College of Public Health, conducted a national search to identify the finalists. The committee was assisted by the UGA Search Group in the Division of Human Resources.
Each finalist will make a public presentation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in Room 123 of the Jackson Street Building. The finalists and the dates of their presentations are:
• James LaGro Jr., professor in the department of planning and landscape architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Oct. 30
• Patsy Eubanks Owens, professor of landscape architecture and vice chair of the department of human ecology at the University of California, Davis, Nov. 2
• Sonia Hirt, professor and dean of the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at the University of Maryland, Nov. 6
• Forster Ndubisi, professor in the department of landscape architecture and urban planning at Texas A&M University, Nov. 8
