Starting today, the nation’s foremost authorities in Cyber Security will convene at Augusta University for Cyber Georgia. This premiere event will bring together government, academia and industry experts to provide intelligence and the latest updates on how to improve cybersecurity, education and research.

The two-day conference will zero in on examining cyber threats in the health care industry and better preparing for cyberattacks in the hospital and public health arena. The overall goal is to provide attendees with a positive learning experience that they can incorporate into their work and personal lives.

Cyber Georgia will provide real solutions for cyber threats that we experience on a day-to-day basis.”

Lt. Gen. Paul M. Nakasone, the commanding general of the U.S. Army Cyber Command, and Lt. Gen. Vincent R. Stewart, the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency and the commander of the Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, will deliver this year’s keynote.
