Honeywell's Stephen Gold to Present at the 2017 TAG IoT Symposium

Technology Association of Georgia announced that Stephen Gold, VP & General Manager, Connected Enterprise for Honeywell will be one of the keynote speakers at the annual IoT Symposium on August 31, 2017 at the Renaissance Waverly 2017 in partnership with title sponsor, Honeywell presenting sponsor SAP and gold sponsors AT&T and Cumberland Group.
Stephen Gold is Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell’s Connected Enterprise, responsible for driving the performance of its connected businesses, including product management, strategy, marketing, business development, and overall architecture across its strategic business groups that make up this $40 billion diversified technology and manufacturing leader. His work underscores Honeywell’s transformation to becoming a software-industrial company, built on world-class Internet of Things and next generation analytics technology, all delivered on a single connected platform called Sentience. His responsibilities include leading performance and innovation globally at Honeywell’s software development Centers of Excellence, including China, India, and Atlanta, and working closely with customers to deliver world-class connected products for the home, commercial and industrial settings.
Prior to this role, Stephen served as a principal architect, Chief Marketing Officer, and Vice President, Business Development of IBM’s Watson Group. Prior to that, Stephen was CMO of SPSS Inc., a provider of predictive analytics software and solutions that was acquired by IBM. Before SPSS, he was President of the Aberdeen Group, a publically held data science firm where he drove 28 percent year over year growth and expanded operations in 22 markets. Stephen also held senior leadership positions at various start-ups including CMO at Digital Market (now Oracle), CEO of Azerity (now ModelN) and Vice President of Reptron Electronics.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
