UGA Study Examines Economic Impact of Downtown Athens

The business core of downtown Athens provides direct employment to more than 2,000 people, produces nearly $300 million annually in goods and services, and generates more than $10 million in tax and license revenue for the local government, according to the executive summary of a study done for the ADDA.
