Paul Johnson Co-Founder and former CEO of Seller Labs announced he is spinning off Snagshout to further Snagshout's mission to change the way people discover products, services and brands.

"We will be able to help brands connect with and engage shoppers in new and exciting ways. Snagshout will be much more than a great place to find deals on the internet. Snagshout will allow consumers to take a part in the marketing of the products they love. Not only will Snagshout be a product discovery platform but we will also allow brands to connect with socially engaged shoppers and encourage them to share their message across the internet. Our shoppers love to share their opinion on the products they purchase and we believe our platform is poised to become the top influencer destination," said Johnson.

Johnson founded Seller Labs with Co-founder Brandon Checketts in April 2013. Seller Labs launched Snagshout.com in 2015 under Johnson's leadership as CEO. During the past 4 years Johnson led Seller Labs to become a leading provider of solutions for ecommerce merchants. Working with tens of thousands of merchants who generated $7 billion in GMV in 2016.

"Seller Labs core applications are purely B2B SaaS products and are much different than the multi-sided platform we created with Snagshout. Spinning off Snagshout allows each company to focus on their core customers and domains," says Johnson.

Also joining Johnson are Tavish Phillips and Ben Larkins. Phillips and Larkins were the first employees of Seller Labs. They were responsible for building much of Seller Labs technology and were the engineering team who delivered the first version of Snagshout. Johnson will also be accompanied by Mark Vaughn senior software engineer for Snagshout.
