Georgia Governor and Delegation Visit YANMAR Headquarters in Japan

On June 7th, a 23-member delegation from Georgia, including Governor Nathan Deal, his wife Sandra and representatives from the Georgia Department of Economic Development visited YANMAR’s headquarters in Osaka, Japan. Governor Deal’s visit to YANMAR is one of several visits he is making to strengthen relationships with corporations that have ties to Georgia.

During the visit, YANMAR presented information on their company history and business operations followed by lunch at the Premium Marche Café in the Flying Y building. Information on the new training and experience center currently under construction in Acworth was also shared with the group.

During his visit, Governor Deal commented that he felt YANMAR is a company with great products and a strong vision for the future and for sustainability.

Tim Fernandez, President of YANMAR America said, “This was a great opportunity to communicate directly with Georgia’s government leaders to share with them how YANMAR will continue to expand our footprint in Georgia and globally.
