About Mr. Angel, Amos said, "Brian has been with Aflac for 25 years and we are confident that he will step into this new role and continue to represent Aflac's interests with state legislatures and regulatory agencies as Jack has done so well throughout his tenure with the department."
Aflac Executive Vice President and General Counsel Audrey Boone Tillman added, "While we will certainly miss Jack Friou's contributions, we are extremely fortunate to have an outstanding replacement in Brian Angel. Brian has been preparing for this position for the past 25 years. He has the respect of his team and of regulators across the country. We are confident that he will seamlessly move our program forward without interruption."
