A. West is pleased to announce it has been chosen as the electrical contractor for a $75,000 project at the University of Georgia, replacing 20,000 feet of 15kV high voltage cable and splices which run through campus from a substation. This eight-week project, beginning early summer, will provide increased reliability to the power loop on UGA’s campus, allowing for more users and greater electrical efficiency.
“We are thrilled to begin working with the University of Georgia. This is the first project we’ve been awarded by the university and we look forward to continuing to provide a better future at UGA,” says Eddie West, president of A. West.
