Governor Unveils “Grow the Future”

Gov. Nathan Deal, in conjunction with the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement, unveiled “Grow the Future,” the 11th installment of the “Real Teachers Real Voices” campaign. This initiative, which highlights exceptional educators around the state, stems from feedback provided by Deal’s Teacher Advisory Committee. “Grow the Future” features Jeff Wilbanks, an educator at Fannin County Middle School.
“Teaching plants the seeds for their futures,” said Wilbanks. “Georgia needs teachers now and in the future who can use tools and technology. Take this step. Grow to be a teacher.”
