Lockheed Martin Defends F-35 During Program at Athens Manufacturer

Athens-Clarke County’s two congressmen, along with its mayor, some of its 10 commissioners and a progression of other local civic and business people, climbed into a F-35 Lightning II flight simulator Tuesday morning, each trying their hand at piloting the latest-generation military aircraft, and taking out some ground and air targets.
