Wednesday is the final day to submit nominations for the American Red Cross of Northeast Georgia’s Hometown Heroes recognition.
This year, the local American Red Cross is seeking nominees in the following categories: education, emergency response, fire-rescue, Good Samaritan, health and safety and law enforcement.
The annual awards are designed to honor community members who have demonstrated heroism through extraordinary acts of courage and kindness.
