Travel Abroad with The Georgia Chamber of Commerce
Friday, March 3rd, 2017
The Georgia Chamber is adding two exciting destinations to their travel program in 2017: South Africa in June and Iceland in September. Attendees will have the opportunity to broaden their worldviews, while networking with Georgia business and political leaders.
Traveling with the Chamber is a unique experience, as each trip is specially curated for attendees to immerse themselves in local culture and tour some of the world’s most beautiful vistas. All aspects of the trip including transportation, lodging, and tours are handled by the Chamber, providing attendees with an overall stress-free experience.
“After overwhelmingly positive responses from attendees of our Cuba trips in 2016, we are ecstatic to extend our travel program to both South Africa and Iceland,” said Georgia Chamber President & CEO, Chris Clark. “I think the one piece of feedback that I constantly receive from our travel program attendees is how relieving it is to have everything taken care of throughout the trip. Attendees know they’re in good hands.”
While in South Africa, attendees will explore the best the country offers. From going on a safari in Kruger National Park, to taking a stroll through the beautiful coastal city of Cape Town, this trip offers an unforgettable experience.
On the September trip to Iceland, attendees will explore Reykjavik, where 60% of the country’s population resides. A whale watching cruise in Faxa Bay, a visit to Deildartunguhver, Europe’s most powerful hot spring, and a tour of the Golden Circle will serve to delight those with an interest in ecotourism.
While registration for Iceland opens at the end of March, those interested in coming aboard the South Africa trip have limited time remaining to secure their spot.
