For the fifth year in a row, the LEAD Athens Alumni Association gives back to their community by donating proceeds of their annual Moonlight 5K to a local organization. For the second time, they have partnered with Campus Kitchen at UGA, a student-powered hunger relief program of the UGA Office of Service-Learning.

The race will be held on Friday, April 7th, 2017 at the First American Bank located at 300 College Ave, Athens, GA. Online registration is $20 until March 31st and race-day registration is $25. On-site registration begins at 8 p.m. and the race will begin at 10 p.m. A $100 cash prize will be awarded to the fastest male and female winners and awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group. LEAD Athens Alumni Association will host an after party at The Place, located at 229 Broad St. Drink specials will be provided to those who bring their race bib.
