Join Avid Bookshop and the University of Georgia Press in partnership with Georgia Public Broadcasting and Georgia Humanities in launching the first Georgia Reads, a new virtual book club. This event is on Saturday, March 18, 2017, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Prince Avenue bookshoip location and there is no admission fee.

The inaugaral title for the book club is the 25th anniversary edition of Rodger Lyle Brown's Party Out of Bounds: The B-52's, R.E.M., and The Kids Who Rocked Athens, Georgia.

Producer/engineer, musician, and director of UGA’s music business certificate program at Terry College, David Barbe, will interview Brown and a panel of local musicians, including Vanessa Briscoe Hay of Pylon.
