Georgia United Credit Union Offering $27K in Scholarships for High School Seniors

Georgia United Credit Union will host its 23rd annual scholarship competition where high school seniors have the opportunity to earn up to $10,000.

To win, students must be members of the Georgia United Credit Union and submit a creative video. For an online application and program rules, visit gucu.org/scholarships or call 770-476-6400, ext. 6770.

The competition will award $27,500 through four scholarships, including the Vernon E. Carne Scholarship for $10,000, the Geraldine Tilson Scholarship for $7,500, the Polly Hinde Scholarship for $5,000 and the Dorothy Dusenberry Scholarship for $5,000.

All entries must be received by Feb. 28. Winners will be announced on April 3.

The program has awarded almost $200,000 to more than 200 seniors since its start.
