BankSouth Employee Honored with Oconee Awards

ankSouth, a family-owned bank in Watkinsville, recently announced that one of its employees received three awards the 2017 Oconee County Chamber of Commerce Awards Ceremony.
Lorie Petersen, a business development officer at the bank since 2013, received the Ambassador of the Year Award, the James McClain Leadership Award and the Sharon Johnson Volunteer Award, which is given to the person who has made a positive impact on Oconee County.
