The AARP Tax-Aide Program is offering free federal and state tax preparation in the Athens area until Feb. 7.

To receive help, participants must bring identification, a Social Security card, 2016 tax documents, supporting information and a copy of their 2015 tax return.

The program will be offered at these locations and times:

Monday from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at the Oconee County Library starting Feb. 6.

Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kroger on Epps Bridge Parkway starting Feb. 7.

Wednesday from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at the Athens-Clarke County Library starting Feb. 1.

Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Athens-Clarke County Library starting Feb. 3.

Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kroger on Epps Bridge Parkway starting Feb. 4.
