Athens-Clarke Needs Integrated Approach to Transportation Planning, Panel Says

Efforts like the public transit plan being developed, a bicycle and pedestrian master plan that soon will have a consultant on board, and citizens submitting proposals for funding with a planned transportation-specific local sales tax, are signaling a real change in how Athenians look at transportation issues, the county’s traffic engineer said at a Federation of Neighborhoods forum Monday.
