Currahee Club Hires New Sales Manager

Currahee Club, an award-winning Southern Living-inspired community in northern Georgia, recently welcomed Ciro Piccirillo as the community’s Sales Manager. Piccirillo draws from a 38-year career in real estate to lead Currahee’s sales department. As Sales Manager, the Elberton, Ga. native will be responsible for managing the sales team and taking prospects from tour to closing while finding the perfect property for the real estate buyer looking for a new home or second home.
Andrew Ward, President and Managing Partner at Currahee, shared, “The range and depth of his career makes Piccirillo an ideal leader for the Currahee sales team, and his experience aligns closely with Currahee’s sales offerings. We are fortunate to have someone with his talents and infectious enthusiasm running our real estate sales team.”
A Clemson University graduate, where he was a walk-on kicker for the football team, Piccirillo started selling real estate his senior year in college. He continued in local real estate until he joined the Keowee Key sales team. From there, he spent time in communities like Fords Colony in Williamsburg, Va.; St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C.; Ginn-Hammock Beach in Orlando, Fl.; Bear Lake Preserve in Tuckasegee, N.C.; and The Cliffs communities in North and South Carolina. Piccirillo’s knowledge of real estate is rivaled only by his passion for the industry and the process – both of which are key elements of Currahee’s sales philosophy.
“While I have always loved selling real estate,” remarks Piccirillo, “it is properties like Currahee that are a pleasure to represent. A very famous trainer, Zig Zeigler, once said, ‘You can have anything in the world you want if you help other people get what they want.’ That simple statement embodies what we do in sales – listen to the customers and help them find what they want!”
During his career, Piccirillo has worked with some of the finest developers and sales teams in the Southeast and has consistently achieved his sales goals. There have been numerous Salesman of the Year, Chairman’s Club and Eagles Club Awards accolades, as well as several Circle of Excellence inductions. He and his wife Anne have four children and a grandson, and their family enjoys making the most of time spent together at their home on the lake near Seneca.
