Mixed-use Development with at Least 80 Apartments Proposed for Downtown Athens

An unidentified Birmingham developer is eyeing a small tract on Oconee Street in the eastern edge of downtown Athens as the possible site for a five-story mixed-use development that could include more than 80 apartments and above ground-floor commercial space.
