2016 Georgia Transportation Summit November 30th

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Georgia, Georgia Department of Transportation, Georgia Transportation Alliance and Georgia Chamber of Commerce will host the 2016 Georgia Transportation Summit on Wednesday, November 30, at The Classic Center in Athens, Georgia.
The morning General Session will feature a slate of leaders discussing the state of Georgia’s transportation infrastructure, upcoming projects and trends for each sector. Speakers include:
- Russell McMurry, Commissioner, GDOT
- Meg Pirkle, Chief Engineer, GDOT
- Keith Parker, CEO and General Manager, MARTA
- Chris Tomlinson, Executive Director, State Road and Tollway Authority
- Roosevelt Council, Interim Aviation General Manager, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International
Additional General Session speakers and panelists will include representatives from the U.S. Chamber and Center of Innovation for Logistics at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, as well as a video message from Georgia Ports Authority’s Executive Director, Griffith Lynch. The General Session will close with a panel discussion centering around a post-election outlook on the future of transportation nationwide.
