JNC Recommends Candidates for the Supreme Court of Georgia

The Judicial Nominating Commission has submitted recommendations to fill three vacancies on the Supreme Court of Georgia. Two of the vacancies were created by House Bill 927 during the 2016 session of the Georgia General Assembly. The other vacancy will be created by the retirement of the Honorable Hugh P. Thompson. Governor Deal will fill the vacancies from among the list. The Governor’s Office will contact candidates to schedule interviews.
