Georgia Options announces the appointment of Rena Harris of Lawrenceville as executive director.

Harris has 20 years of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home- and community-based settings.

Harris was previously the Director of Developmental Disabilities Services at Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta and worked in various roles with individuals with disabilities who transitioned from Fairview Training Center in Salem.

Harris has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. She serves on Emory University & DBHDD’s Adult Autism Services Committee and the Department of Community Health’s HCBS Transition Plan Task Force.
