Georgia-based Kabbage Launches “Elevator Pitch,” a Nationwide Campaign with Lori Greiner
Monday, September 12th, 2016
Kabbage, the leading financial services data and technology platform, announced a nationwide campaign for small business owners. In early October, five finalists will have the opportunity to deliver an “Elevator Pitch” directly to entrepreneur and investor Lori Greiner. One finalist will win $10, 000 and a private, one-hour business consultation with Ms. Greiner. Contest submissions are open beginning today until midnight on September 20, 2016.
In addition to creating over 500 products and holding 120 U.S. and international patents, Ms. Greiner authored “Invent it, Sell it, Bank it,” the national bestseller where she provides entrepreneurs with practical advice on seeing their vision become reality, as well as lessons from her own successes and challenges.
“Like so many small business owners we work with every day, Lori started with an idea that grew into an empire,” said Rob Frohwein, co-founder and CEO of Kabbage. “Lori represents the best qualities of entrepreneurs seeking the new American dream – to own their own business and see it flourish. She also understands the hard work that is required to grow a small business, and has so much compelling advice and wisdom to share from her own journey.”
Since launching in 2011, Kabbage has served more than 80,000 small businesses across the U.S. with over two billion dollars in capital.
“There’s a tremendous amount of dedication and personal sacrifice that goes into launching and growing a small business or product,” said Lori Greiner. “It requires business owners to be incredibly driven, passionate about their product and flexible in the face of adversity.”
How to Enter
Business owners must create a short video of their best business growth idea. After contestants upload the video to Kabbage’s Facebook page, a panel of judges will select the qualifying finalists to deliver their best “Elevator Pitch” in person to Lori Greiner. Limit one entry per small business.
Prizes
Contestants will compete for the grand prize of $10,000 and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Lori Greiner in a private, one-hour consultation in Chicago or Los Angeles. The winner will be announced in early October.
