State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler presents the Georgia Department of Labor’s Manager of the Year Award to Sandra Clayton, manager of the Moultrie Career Center.

The award was presented at the GDOL’s statewide meeting of its Unemployment Insurance, Regional Operations and Business Services Unit divisions held last week in Warner Robins.

Clayton, a resident of Moultrie, has been with the agency for 31 years. She also serves as interim manager of the GDOL’s Tifton Career Center. Within the past year, she has also served as interim manager of the department’s Americus and Cordele career centers. She worked with staff in all of these career centers to implement processes to better serve employers and job seekers. Clayton has been instrumental in over-seeing the merger of services between career centers.

Sandra was also recognized by the Business Services Unit for outstanding customer service to employers.
