Athens-Clarke Commissioners to Consider Laying Groundwork for Local Transportation Project Levy

One week after they received their first formal briefing on county management’s preferences for setting a schedule for a November 2017 referendum on a 1 percent local sales tax for transportation-related projects, Athens-Clarke County commissioners are being asked to begin laying the groundwork for that referendum.
