ADDA Looking to Extend its Downtown Athens Boundaries

Owners of more than 400 pieces of business property along the edges of downtown Athens will get a letter from the Athens Downtown Development Authority asking if they want to come under its umbrella, a move that would prompt a 1-mill increase in their property tax rate.
