Anne Cardella, Board of Trustees of the Teachers’ Retirement System of Georgia
Cardella is a teacher in the gifted program at W.G. Nunn Elementary School and has more than 24 years of teaching experience. She is the school’s public relations coordinator, technology teacher leader, writing coordinator and a mentor teacher. Cardella is a member of the National Association for Gifted Children, the Georgia Association for Gifted Children and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators. She was named the Teacher of the Year for Valdosta City Schools in 2009. Cardella earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia. She and her husband, Craig, have two children and five grandchildren. They reside in Valdosta.

Cynthia Clanton, Georgia Commission on Family Violence
Clanton is the director of the Georgia Judicial Council’s Administrative Office of the Court. She was previously the assistant general counsel for the State Bar of Georgia and led its Consumer Assistance Program. Clanton also clerked for Superior Court Judge Eugene Gadsden in the Eastern Judicial Circuit. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of the South and a law degree from Mercer University. Clanton and her husband, Vincent, have two children and four grandchildren. They live in Atlanta.

Christy Ellerbee, Georgia Commission for Service and Volunteerism
Ellerbee is the founder of Ellerbee Consulting and owner of The Allstate Ellerbee Insurance Agency. She sits on the Georgia College and State University alumni board and the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Walton County. Ellerbee is a graduate of the 2013 Leadership Georgia class. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia College and State University and a law degree from Georgia State University. Ellerbee and her husband, Sean, have two children and reside in Monroe.

Cynthia Jenkins, Georgia Commission for Service and Volunteerism
Jenkins is the mayor pro tem of Newnan and the owner of C.E. Jenkins Construction. She is a founder of the Newnan Youth Council and coaches cheerleading with the Coweta Cobras Foundation. Jenkins previously sat on the boards of Piedmont-Newnan Hospital, Southeastern Assistance in Healthcare, the Coweta Community Foundation, Community Action for Improvement and the Coweta Board of Health. She is a graduate of the 2007 Leadership Georgia class and earned a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Georgia Tech. Jenkins lives in Newnan.

Evan Karanovich, Georgia Commission for Service and Volunteerism
Karanovich is the special assistant to the chairman and CEO of Chick-fil-A. He was previously an advisor and an aide to Department of Agriculture Commissioner Gary Black and U.S. Senator David Perdue. Karanovich is a mentor with the Chick-fil-A Foundation and a member of the Georgia College and State University Young Alumni Council. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Georgia College and State University. Karanovich resides in Atlanta.

Jacob Hinton, Georgia Drones Commission
Hinton is a partner, photogrammetry processor and unmanned aerial vehicle pilot at Flyover Services LLC. He is a member of the Georgia Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International and the Georgia Urban and Regional Information Systems Association. Hinton has been a licensed private pilot for more than 11 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech. Hinton and his wife, Kathryn, live in McDonough.

Lewis Massey, Georgia Drones Commission
Massey is a partner with Massey, Watson & Hembree LLC. He served as the Georgia Secretary of State from 1996 through 1999. Massey was previously the vice president of Bank South Securities, president and CEO of SciTrek and the chief of staff to former Lt. Gov. Pierre Howard. He previously sat on the board of directors for Georgia Special Olympics, Prevent Child Abuse Georgia and Hands On Georgia. Massey earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in Business Administration. He and his wife, Amy, have three children and reside in Peachtree Corners.

Michael Wall, Georgia Drones Commission
Wall is the vice president of government and regulatory affairs for Comcast in Georgia. He is also the chairman of the Technology Association of Georgia’s government affairs task force. Wall sits on the boards of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Cable Association. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay State University and a law degree from the University of Tennessee. Wall and his wife, Jessica, have three children and live in Marietta.

Andrew Pace, Georgia State Board of Architects and Interior Designers (reappointment)
Pace is the senior vice president of Strand Hospitality Services, a hotel management and development firm. He sits on the advisory board of the Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality at Georgia State University and is a trustee of the Georgia State University Foundation board. Pace earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Mercer University. He resides in Buford.

Susan Watts, Georgia State Board of Architects and Interior Designers (reappointment)
Watts is the managing director of SpaceCraft, LLC. She represented Midtown Atlanta on the Neighborhod Planning Unit-E board and volunteers with organizations that provide services for families, children and veterans. Watts earned a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Auburn University and an executive master’s degree in Business Administration from Dartmouth College. She and her husband, Leo, have two children and live in St. Simons.

Michael Berry, Stakeholder Advisory Board
Berry is the manager of the Erosion and Sedimentation Unit with the Department of Natural Resources’ Environmental Protection Division. He previously worked with the Georgia Geologic Survey at EPD. Berry earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Georgia College and State University. He and his wife, Leah, have one child and reside in Covington.
