With the 2016 Summer Olympics now under way in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, people in the cities of Atlanta and Athens, along with other communities around the state, are remembering their time in the Olympic spotlight 20 years ago, when the Atlanta-hosted 1996 Summer Olympics put the state on the world stage.
