Grady College, Roundsphere Winners of Food and Fund Drive Competition

The Technology Association of Georgia and Hub Magazine’s Food Technology feature, Bytes, announced the results and winners of the inaugural Bytes for Bites food and fund drive competition, which benefits the eight regional Food Banks that comprise the Georgia Food Bank Association.
The following Athens area companies won regional awards:
TAG Athens Winner - Pounds Per Employee: UGA Grady School of Journalism: Athens, 127 Pounds per Employee
TAG Athens Winner - Total Pounds: Roundsphere: Athens, 3,335 Total Pounds
The UGA School of Journalism, Roundsphere, Partner Software, Inc., and the University System of Georgia – Information Technology Services competed and collectively raised $1,389.67 and 316 pounds of food for the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia.
These efforts were also supported by Athens based Bytes for Bites Steering Committee member, Greg Schutz, Associate Vice Chancellor of Strategic Business with the Board of Regents, University System of Georgia.
