WellCare Names Ryan Randall COO, Georgia

WellCare of Georgia, a subsidiary of WellCare Health Plans, Inc., announced that it named Ryan Randall chief operating officer, effective July 22, 2016. He will report to Roman Kulich, region president, WellCare of Georgia and South Carolina.

Randall will provide leadership and oversight of WellCare of Georgia's hospital contracting, provider operations, network management, information technology and community relations functions. In addition, he will partner with finance and medical economics to drive financial performance and medical expense initiatives.

"His strong record of achieving financial and operational results, in combination with his commitment to our cultural values, makes him a great addition to our team."

Most recently, Randall was the plan chief financial officer for the Indiana Medicaid health plan at Anthem, Inc. While in this position, he was responsible for market-level finance, reporting and analysis, and revenue enhancement initiatives. Before that, he served as the plan chief financial officer for Molina Healthcare of Michigan. Randall also held leadership roles for The Procter and Gamble Company in Cincinnati, Ohio and CareSource Management Group in Dayton, Ohio.

Randall holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati.

As of March 31, 2016, WellCare serves approximately 583,000 Medicaid and PeachCare for Kids® plan members, 37,000 Medicare Advantage plan members and 24,000 Medicare Prescription Drug Plan members in Georgia.
