Athens Transit Free Youth Ridership Program likely to Extend Year-round

A program that would provide year-round free Athens Transit rides to local youth between the ages of 5 and 17 appears headed for approval at the Aug. 2 meeting of Athens-Clarke County’s mayor and commission, although there may be some semantic wrangling over exactly how to refer to the initiative.
