2016 “Back To School” Sales Tax Holiday Announced

The Georgia Department of Revenue would like to remind all Georgians that they will be able to purchase certain items tax free during the upcoming “Back to School” sales tax holiday. The sales tax holiday begins on Saturday, July 30, 2016 and runs through Sunday, July 31, 2016, and will allow shoppers in Georgia to purchase many work and school related goods, tax free.
