Paul Raber, D.O., and his medical office, Lighthouse Family Practice, located at 12134 Augusta Road, Suite A, Lavonia, have joined St. Mary's Medical Group effective June 1, 2016.

Lighthouse Family Practice has offered quality healthcare for the entire family, from infants to senior adults, since Dr. Raber founded it in 2007.

"As a young child, I felt led by God to become a physician," Dr. Raber says. "Because St. Mary's is a faith-based health care ministry, our missions align beautifully. My goal has always been to treat every patient with the unconditional love of Christ while utilizing the finest medical skills and experience available. Affiliating with St. Mary's Medical Group enables me to continue practicing medicine in this way while meeting the many demands of operating a medical practice today."

Dr. Raber has been serving Northeast Georgia since 1998. He received his bachelor's degree in biology from Eastern Nazarene College in Boston, his medical degree from the University of New England School of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and completed his family practice residency at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Columbus, Ga. He has years of experience in private practice and emergency medicine, as well as in multiple hospital settings.
