“Done is better than good,” Jordan Burke, a local tech entrepreneur in Athens, said Friday as he opened a weekend’s worth of “civic hacking” in Athens.

But even if the small group gathered at RoundSphere, an entrepreneurial services firm in downtown Athens, doesn’t finish work on a new citizen-oriented website by Sunday afternoon, they will at least have made a start, and will have learned something in the process, Burke quickly added.
