SunTrust Banks, Inc., was named to the InformationWeek Elite 100 for its implementation of a new mortgage origination platform.

In early 2013, SunTrust committed to replacing its mortgage origination platform to better meet client needs, ensure consistency and prepare for a rapidly changing mortgage industry and regulatory environment.  The implementation was successfully completed on time and gained the bank a competitive advantage with the new technical capability, realizing efficiencies in processes and increasing client satisfaction. The project was completed in 2015.
